        Hello,  below you will find your data base search of my father on
your USS-Bennington.  During this time my father suffered a injury while
aboard the ship.  Fortunately for me (my birthdate was 4/3/63) he was
rescued by a crew member not of the Bennington but I believe a crew member
of one of the escort ships.  He has as of lately expressed a great deal of
interest in finding this crew member to express his gratitude his name as
far as I know is a Ben Ross, the bad news is he is having very little luck
in this search.  I know he has contacted the Navy but there was little
progress made there, I was curious as to whether the founders and research
people for this lovely web page would be able to help my father and I.
